Unfortunately, her son forgot to tell her that he was bringing three of her friends. If Mrs. Roche wants to feed each person the same amount of turkey that she had originally planned, how much additional turkey must she purchase to accommodate these additional guests? Yes, the babies will eat the same amount as the adults. Express your answer as a decimal to the nearest tenth.
5. Thanksgiving Dinner 2008 is to be a special event for the Skeen family. They have decided to put each of the factors of 2008 into a bowl once. Each factor will be selected by one family member using a random number generator. Each family member will then run or walk a distance in yards that is 10 times the value of the factor he or she chose before eating dinner. What is the total number of yards Mr. Skeen’s family will run or walk before they eat their Thanksgiving dinner?
