American Math Challenge

Calvert School performed very well in the American Math Challenge.  As a school, we finished 7th for MathCounts schools.  In the grade-level group competition, Gold Grade 5 came in first for Calvert.  This group of students was 4th place for MathCounts schools and 27th in the nation!  Black Grade 5 finished 14th for MathCounts schools, and Gold Grade 6 finished 43rd for MathCounts schools.

The top performers for Calvert School were:
Noah (15,662 points, 14th for MathCounts schools, 89th in the nation)
Tyrese (14,355 points)
Mac (12,327)
Patrick S (12,014)
Brandon W (11,713)

For coming in first, Noah won a pizza party for his homeroom.  Mrs. Ossmus even ate some!  The other listed participants received Dunkin Donuts gift cards.  Thanks for all who participated!
